Where can a skip be sited?
Skips can be placed anywhere on private property that the delivery vehicles can access, most common locations are driveways, gardens and parking areas. Skips can be placed on the public highway but a permit is required. Skips are not allowed to be placed on curbs, on yellow lines or in parking meter bays.
What is involved in getting a Highway permit?
We submit the application form for you to the relevant Highway Authority and supply the cones and lamps to comply with the Highways Act. We require 3 working days’ notice which includes the use of lights and cones and also administration. The permit lasts for either one week for a or b Roads two weeks for all other roads after which time the skip must come back. Permits can be renewed but the same notice period and cost is required. We ask that permitted skips are paid for on delivery
How long can I have a skip for?
We normally say small to medium skips up to ten days and builders skips up to two weeks but we ask that you call us to book a collection unless pre-arranged, should you require a skip for longer please contact us on 01246455985 to discuss your requirements (we can usually accommodate).
When is my skip collected?
We aim to collect skip same day / next day once they are rang in.

Most household, commercial and construction waste is all right but there are certain things we can’t accept as below:-
